Devoted to enlightening the youth in achieving their dreams while targeting disabled youth and contributing to their personal development

Follow Our Dreams, Inc. is an assistance program established in an effort to influence the youth to achieve their goals. Although this program will mainly engage an educational approach to help increase student grades at a number of elementary schools in the Miami-Dade area, it will also target disabled youth in helping them achieve their dreams.

The assistance program was founded by Ahmad Jones, 19, known as one of the most exacerbating young men in the state of Florida. In 1996, at the age of 10, Jones, commonly known as AJ, was struck by a truck while riding his bike in Havana, Florida. As a result, he was forced to be confined to a bed and/or a wheelchair for the rest of his life.

Because AJ, knows the difficulties that a quadriplegic faces while striving to achieve his dream of succeeding in school, he wants the program to not only contribute to the community in helping build and shape conquering leaders, but to contribute to the personal development of disabled youth and instill in them that everything in life is possible if we Follow Our Dreams.

Assist in helping increase the number of third grade students who pass the FCAT.

Promote educational advancement by visiting schools and after-school programs and to plan and execute social and education activities to enhance students in their learning process.

Visiting hospitals and disabled youth centers to collaborate and encourage them, while building self-esteem.

Connect with children through an illustrated cartoon approach using the Follow Our Dreams, Inc.’s mascot.

Plan and organize fundraising events to raise the funding necessary to position our future leaders in the right path.

Help transform Miami-Dade cities at risk youth in conjunction with Portrait of Empowerment.
